01.16.2008 Well folks, this last Saturday at the Varsity Theater was a real treat. As some of you know already, it was my last show with Sonicate, and what a way to end my time in the band! Such a wonderful, large supportive crowd, and a solid bill to boot. My departure from the band is completely amiable, and while I am sad and a little scared to leave, I know it's the right decision for me to make at this point in my life.

The always-incredible Steve Clayton is now a full-fledged member of the band, and I'm excited to hear what he, Willie, and Peter create in the coming months. I know it will be good, I just don't know what it will sound like yet. So stay tuned, and don't stray far- there's plenty of great Sonicate music to come.

10.14.2007 Thank you to everyone who came out to the split-EP release shows in Minneapolis and Northfield this weekend. We had a fantastic time, and it was great to see everyone out there. I hope the new tunes are treating you well, and thank you for your support! We'll be booking more shows and continuing work on the brand new album soon.........stay tuned.

9.26.2007 Our brand new split-EP is finally complete - rejoice by hurrying over to Limerick Records for your and your friends and familys' endless supply of completely free downloads!

Our record label (Limerick Records) is a new, free label, meaning all the recorded music by the bands will be available for, well... free. The Gazillion/Sonicate split-EP is the first release, and will be followed in the coming months by full-length releases by all of the Limerick bands (Capitol Jay, Gazillion, Sonicate)

The EP release show will coincide with a label-launch show, celebrated on Thursday, October 11th at The Ritz Theater in Northeast Minneapolis. We hope you'll all come out for this huge event, and bring along everyone you know. The Ritz is a beautiful venue, and it's going to be a fantastic evening.

For now, enjoy the new recordings and share them with the world- we look forward to seeing you on the 11th.
